About Me

Made by hand. Shared with heart.

Woman kneeling on the ground outdoors, holding a chicken, in front of a yellow shed with barred windows, dressed in a red plaid shirt, green pants, and rubber boots.

At Rooted in the Woods, everything starts with a simple question: what am I actually putting in my body?

The more I learned, the more I realized how much our skin absorbs, and how many products on the shelf are filled with ingredients I couldn’t pronounce or didn’t fully understand. That didn’t sit right with me.

So I started paying closer attention. I dove into learning about whole, clean ingredients and how they work with our skin, not against it. And eventually, I decided to try making my own products.

What started as a personal project quickly turned into something I genuinely fell in love with.

I began creating simple, thoughtful formulas using ingredients I trusted, focusing on quality, purpose, and keeping things as natural as possible. Along the way, I realized I didn’t just want to make products, I wanted to share what I was learning, too.

Rooted in the Woods is more than just skincare; it's about connection. Connection to what we put on our bodies, to the ingredients we use, and to the community around us. I truly love sharing my makings with others, whether it’s through a conversation, a market, or a simple recommendation passed along.

Because everyone deserves to feel confident about what they’re using on their skin.

This brand is built on that idea. It’s about creating skincare that feels good, makes sense, and supports your skin in a gentle, intentional way. No unnecessary extras - just ingredients you can understand and feel good about.

I’m here not only to offer products, but to be a resource. Someone you can trust as you learn more about clean skincare and what works best for you.
